The Reef Skim 2.0 1250 DC is a high-efficiency protein skimmer designed for reef systems up to 1,250 litres. It uses foam fractionation driven by Reef Pump DC technology to strip dissolved organics, uneaten food, and harmful compounds from the water column — leaving the sump free of micro-bubble contamination.

Its defining design feature is an in-base water outlet: effluent exits through the base of the skimmer body rather than the side, extending air-water contact time and significantly reducing both operational noise and micro-bubble escape into the return.
